Carolina Career College
Identity and brand launch collateral for an Information Technology college in the Raleigh-Durham area. This project was selected for the Bronze award in the 32nd Annual Educational Advertising Awards in the Integrated Marketing category.

The logo uses the school's acronym — CCC — as the basis for the design. I overlapped the three letters to create a sense of depth, and used gradients in bright colors to add vibrancy.

That sense of vibrancy is carried over to the stationery, where I used the bright orange color as an accent to call attention to important information.

I created a direct mail marketing flyer with a superhero theme inspired by the visual language of comic books. I used halftone dot patterns, speech bubbles, bright colors, and a comic-inspired display typeface to achieve the classic comic book look.

To enable the folks at Carolina Career College to use their logo correctly, I created a simple identity manual outlining correct logo usage, colors, and typefaces for print and web.

To create awareness in the local community, I designed billboards advertising the school. I created a 'Coming Soon' billboard as a teaser, to be replaced later by the 'Reset Button' billboard.

As part of the overall brand launch effort, I also created social media graphics for distribution on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. These vary widely, from simple holiday announcements to messages directed toward military veterans.

Finally, I was tasked with creating pay-per-click ads that would direct prospective students to dedicated landing pages, where they could learn more about the school and the programs they offer.
