Wicked Dolphin is a family-run, award-winning craft spirit distillery located in Cape Coral, Florida. Specializing in rum, and only mere miles from Florida’s sugar cane fields, they source local ingredients and distill their spirits in small batches.
One of the biggest challenges that Wicked Dolphin faced was highlighting the lifestyle aspects of the brand. To solve that problem I used photography that showed friends enjoying drinks together, and visual nods to Florida that embody who they are.
The cocktail recipes page uses a custom post type that is searchable by their spirit types and flavors, allowing the user to search for a recipe specifically tailored to the spirit they purchased.
Bold colors are used in the product pages to differentiate each flavor and add visual excitement.
A custom-built store locator allows the user to seek out their delicious products.
Drink cards were created for each month’s featured drink at a local restaurant.
Hang tags highlight selling points to the customer.
Distilled with locally sourced coffee in a traditional copper pot still, the Cold Brew Coffee rum has been a huge success. I designed the label for this limited release product.
To showcase this limited release product I used fancy ornaments and a vintage script typeface with lots of personality.
I drew inspiration from the dark and golden hues of coffee for the color palette.
